Teens Learn to Ride

Course Details

The HART Teens Learn to Ride course is a safe way to introduce your teenager to riding. This course is for the teen, 12 to 17, who has little or no riding experience. They will be taught the fundamentals of riding a motorcycle with the focus on the handling and control skills that are essential for safe and enjoyable motorcycling.

The course is conducted on our asphalt and dirt training ranges using Honda motorcycles with clutches and gears. We start the training on the asphalt area as it is a smooth consistent surface, making it easier to master the essential skills of riding without needing to worry about uneven or slippery terrain. Once we have established balance and clutch control, we move onto a flat off-road area to continue to develop our skills.

To maximise the practice and feedback provided to each rider, the course is capped to only 5 students.

After completing this course rider’s will be ready for the Off Road course, where they can continue to develop their new found skills.
